Kontroversi rokok : Telaah hermeneutis atas Kitab Irsyadu al-Ikhwan Karya Syekh Ihsan Jampers

ABSTRACT : A text does not come in a vacuum of history. The text presents itself as the product of specific socio-culturally circumtances. For this reason, irsyadu al-ikhwwan fi Bayani Hukmi al-Qahwah wa al-Dukhan written by Syekh Ihsan Jampes is also a part of the work which can not be separated from its socio-cultural conditions. This paper discusses the reason Sheikh Ihsan Jampes had in composing the book; explains the fusion of horizons of the book, wether it was written critically or just a more reproduction and finally finds the model Sheikh Ihsan adopted in developing the conception of cigarettes according to its hermeneutic turn.
